Life is short

Life is short:

  • "Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." (James 4:13-17)

  • "For we are brought to an end by your anger; by your wrath we are dismayed. You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. For all our days pass away under your wrath; we bring our years to an end like a sigh. The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away. Who considers the power of your anger, and your wrath according to the fear of you? So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." (Psalms 90:7-12)

Wow...life is short. Sure glad we can grow older in a relatively little bit longer lapse of time than displayed in the video. "Grin"

This was a great reminder. Everyday should be used to the fullest, for God's glory and not my own. But do I have to get really wrinkly and old looking like that guy? HA
Love ya

That is an amazing video. That and the scriptures really make you think. Life is short and I agree we that we better be doing what we have been called to do.
