Our desperation for Christ

Every one by nature:

• is a child of wrath (Eph. 2:3)
• drinks iniquity like water (Job 15:16)
• is depraved in mind (Eph. 4:17)
• is blinded in heart (Eph. 4:18)
• cannot hear the words of Christ (John 8:43-44)
• cannot know the things of God (1 Cor. 2:14)
• cannot please God (Rom. 8:8)
  
• cannot do good (Rom 3:12)
  
• is not righteous (Rom. 3:10)
• does not understand (Rom 3:11)
• does not seek after God (Rom. 3:11)
• is worthless (Rom. 3:12)

I guess we do need Jesus.
