Looking Back - C. S. Lewis

"My argument against God was that the universe seemed unjust. But how had I got the idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line."

~C.S. Lewis

(The picture above shows straight lines with special markings. The lines never look straight but they are. To a non-believer or, more accurately, an unwilling believer the universe, or God, seems unjust but the non believer has no grounds for the concept of "just".)
