Ten Commandments and Honor

In the 1st Commandment we see how to honor God as God

• “You shall have no other gods before me”

In the 2nd Commandment we see how to honor God’s image

• “You shall not make for yourself a carved image”

In the 3rd Commandment we see how to honor God’s name

• “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain”

In the 4th Commandment we see how to honor God’s day

• “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy”

• “Honor your father and your mother”
